In the land of unlimited opportunities they stand on the chairs at the news of a new Captain America movie. In the UK, however, viewed with suspicion the patriotic hero. It is not surprising that Captain America is the least popular Avenger. There may otherwise sometimes change come after this film.
Just to come straight to the point: Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a very moderate Marvel movie. The production lacks the grandeur of Thor, the humor of Iron Man and over the top element of The Avengers. For the fanboys now equal Prancing: relax. For The Winter Soldier is a fantastic action movie with political thriller elements. From the beginning to the end captivates the story immensely. Where the first film quite a few stitches dropped for the mainstream viewer makes The Winter Soldier more than good.
The film follows on from the end of The Avengers. The earth is saved from the alien threat and Captain America his life resumed. He still struggles with modern times and is looking for his place. The superhero by S.H.I.E.L.D. used to stop various terrorist organizations. Along with The Black Widow and a team of elite soldiers, he creates a new world order. This will change as S.H.I.E.L.D. some makes strange decisions and Captain America declared a public enemy number one. What follows is a wild roller coaster ride full of action, spectacle, explosions and fights. Depth is perhaps hard to find, but that's nothing out here. Captain America: The Winter Soldier does exactly what it should do this kind of films: entertain.
For directing the Russo brothers were contracted. In itself an odd choice, because Joe and Anthony were previously responsible for the comedy You, Me And Dupree. Additionally orchestrated Mr episodes of the series Community, Happy Endings and Animal Practice. Yep, all American formula comedies. With The Winter Soldier show them (fortunately) that the two have more strings to their bow. If accomplished spectacle film suppliers they know the actieclichés (almost always) avoid and give Captain America with an additional layer, a human layer.
Of course, is the superhero focus on the many brawls (especially those in the elevator is fantastic), but Cap excels in personal and often nostalgic moments, for example, his old flame Peggy, special Captain America exhibition and the realization whom The Winter Soldier is. In addition, the Russo's have succeeded to create very accessible these Marvel movie.
Users who previously have never seen a superhero movie may just hang up. Although there is a clear but subtle link with the first film. The other group saw all Marvel productions, is also expected. They are rewarded for their loyalty with little winks. For the real Marvel Comics fan's Captain America: The Winter Soldier blown feast. In fact, we are talking about an essential cinema. Names like Stephen Strange or Batroc The Leaper say the general public probably nothing. Marvelites all the more.
The title Captain America: The Winter Soldier is somewhat strange. The Winter Soldier admittedly plays an important role, but the real bad guy he is. Those roles are played by S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra. The film shows in a few minutes the origins of The Winter Soldier and we have to do it with. A missed opportunity, because it is precisely the background and his link with Russia that makes it so interesting as the antithesis of Captain America. The scriptwriters have chosen a conflict between S.H.I.E.L.D. and to set Hydra central. Much easier to behapstukken.
In addition, it provides impressive performances, for example, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and veteran Robert Redford as a political ringleader Alexander Pierce. A not insignificant factor in the blockbuster mix are the special effects. And these are to drool. The S.H.I.E.L.D. Heli Carriers look impressive and the final battle is just as dazzling as adrenaline exciting.
In America, appeared on Twitter the first reactions from critics and which were unanimously positive. Also during the press conference some good sounds of the Dutch scribes. Despite all the above praise is Captain America: The Winter Soldier is not the best Marvel movie ever. However, it is one that has all the potential to tribes again to get into the cinema. A well made action spectacle with some surprises and an after credit-movie where the next Avenger movie is set in a mysterious but good way. Oh yeah, just before the closing credits, the best reference ever in the history of film forward. This is an old classic by one of the protagonists. Blink your eyes and you have missed it, but I'll bet some other moviegoers into laughter erupts.

With the expansion Reaper of Souls Blizzard is trying to put that disappointment right
Diablo III left me with mixed feelings. With a group of friends I stoomwalsde in a weekend to Inferno, where we got the hard truth of our choosing: Auction House or bust. What Diablo II had made so beautiful, felt like a grind for gold to buy legendary aries. It left a bitter aftertaste.
With the expansion Reaper of Souls Blizzard is trying to put that disappointment right. Down with the Auction House, back with the loot. We could all week long experience with patch 2.0, which found items that not only adjust your class, but is also increased in number and quality. Where to find a legandary first was a matter of a good dose of luck, you are now the exception to the rule if you can not find.
With that pleasant experience in the bag - patch is also applicable to players without the extension - I went to meet the brand new act. And I say it right away: as should be every act of Diablo III. The trip to Malthael bad guy is not only an epic scale in terms of music, style and monsters, he's also another crowded events (mini) bosses and random environments. Though I just whine: the latter still had just a bit more liked.
Now I would like the new class, the Crusader, played by the new act. But of course simply start at level 1. I have already some experience playing him behind and that is far more than entertaining. Maybe a bit too strong, but they said at the beginning also of the Wizard. So, to be continued.
With my level 60 Witch Doctor, I worked on my Master about six hours through the game. On lower difficulty can you take an hour or two off, although it is entirely up to the equipment of your character. These samples are always match your level, so a distinction in power make some items. Do you find that your enemies begin to transcend? Then you can manually screwing up the difficulty.
Normal, Nightmare, Hell and Inferno exist no longer. Because of this you do not necessarily four times by working all acts and you can also himself to some extent determine your playing style (higher difficulty is common equals more reward). According to Rob Foote, one of the Producers of Reaper of Souls that I could interview the day before launch, this change with open arms received by the players in the closed beta. Yet there seems to be missing something.
In Diablo II, it was not much to play the same levels up to fifty occasions. Why Diablo III is? It became so painfully boring that the developer himself admitted that it was not a nice experience, which now replaced the iconic difficulty by a slider. Do not get me wrong, the challenge and rewards on the go works like a charm, but the core of Diablo is lost somewhere. The replacement gameplay same aim, but user-friendly feel.
However the challenge is back with a vengeance. Act V you know work subtly here: where the first half quite easily felt - which was largely due to my minions - the second half was a tough challenge. And here I particularly want to appoint as the bosses, because almighty, which are well designed me. The fight with Diablo, one which we now can dream, is nothing compared to the challenge Malthael dishes out.
For the story, you do not do it, because despite the extensive lore behind this series is also available in the extension no unexpected twists. You must stop Malthael and that you do. I was hoping for a surprise in the final cinematic, but unfortunately failed to materialize.
Blizzard seems therefore no longer focusing on the campaign. By knocking out the last act, namely you unlock the adventure mode. This mode is available for all teleport your characters and allows you to each area. The story you do not follow; instead Meet your bounties, such as the killing of a particular boss or the completion of a specific event.
After five bounties you will receive a reward in the form of experience, gold and items. Among those items can sit keys, which you can use again to open Nephalem Rifts. These Rifts are the equivalent of dungeons, but then again entirely at random and with a lot of loot as a reward.
You read it: after ACT V you can engage more substantially. But to what extent it remains fun, it remains to be seen. The next few days I'm going to immerse myself in the adventure mode, but I also want to experience or leveling from 1 to 70 is still an enjoyable experience. After all, you do not have to do all campaigns again, but aimless wandering in the world of Sanctuary just to get to the promised loot in Torment - the highest difficulty - is still very sensitive gravel.
Also deserves the loot itself to be further investigated. Without the Auction House is the search for the best equipment, amounts in trade with other players, but this is limited. Aries legendary and set items are in fact now only trade with players who were present in the game where the item was found. Co-op is promoted, although you should also gain materials from legendary aries so that your utility has the new crafting possibilities. And then I let the new Artisan - Mystic - are excluded.
A preliminary opinion, I would not give yet. I have good amused me with the visual style, the challenge of new monsters and bosses, and the addition of the Crusader, but that I have not come to the core of Diablo's gameplay replayability. And although I here and there some brands have the substantial changes that the gameplay certainly benefit. Unfortunately, it may take more than one and a half years.
IGN Benelux Keep an eye out for the second part of this Review in Progress and therefore the final judgment of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.
THE JUDGEMENT
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls brings the fun in the quest for the best loot back. The new act convinces better than any previous act, particularly by the many events and well designed bosses, and the new Adventure mode, the Nephalem Rifts and the Crusader-class offer enough variety in play style. Yet at the highest level continues to be a grind, even with the increased quality of the loot, and missing without a decent PvP or end game content a goal to strive for.

A good prequel is perhaps more difficult than making a good sequel
A good prequel is perhaps more difficult than making a good sequel. Examples of good prequels can be counted on one hand, and for every good prequel (like X-men First Class or Rise of the Planet of the Apes) to mention there are ten bad examples. The new series Hannibal is a prequel and tells the story of the iconic cannibal Hannibal Lecter before he got stuck in prison.
When the series was announced, many horror fans skeptical. A prequel to one of the most popular horror icons? That is doomed to fail. Nothing is less true. Creator Bryan Fuller knows the pilot of Hannibal put down a strong opening for this promising series. Last night the first episode on Dutch television came and we come up with this review.
The first episode called 'Aperitif' wasting time with unnecessary exposition and throws the viewer directly into the main murder case around Garrett Jacob Hobbs. Will Graham is a consultant for the FBI with an almost supernatural ability to empathize with psychopaths. He can think as the perpetrators think and with this skill, he can sketch a profile of the perpetrator.
In the first scene Graham will be asked to give advice about the murder of a young woman, but soon discover that there are murdered several women of the same age. Which is what this homicide connect with each other, is that Evisceration with all the victims and presumably eaten. FBI chief Jack Crawford asks Graham to further investigate the murdered women. Because Graham mentally is not entirely stable, Crawford brings him into contact with a psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter.
With this setup showrunner Bryan Fuller begins his new series. The first episode seems primarily intended as an introduction to the different characters and their relationships. It is immediately clear that Graham is a brilliant FBI profiler, but also highlights his mental instability. The way Graham involves himself in the killer might be a little 'gimmicky' and easy going, but it does very effectively his thinking pattern. Hugh Dancy ensures that Graham is an equally interesting character as the killers he hunts. Dancy gives you the idea that lies a psychopath Graham and he can punch through at any moment.
The supporting roles by Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford and Caroline Dhavernas as Dr. Alana Bloom are also played well. Fishburne exudes power, intelligence and leadership, and from the first minute you believe immediately that this man is the head of the FBI. Alana Bloom is still much to do in this first episode, but let all clear see an affection for Graham. It is hoped that the series away remains a 'soapy' romance between the two.
It is striking that Hannibal is introduced until mid-delivery, which focus primarily will be on Graham. Despite sitting in this first episode enough good moments in which actor Mads Mikkelsen shows that Hannibal is very different from previous versions. Mikkelsen shows unerringly how smart and calculating Hannibal. Especially the moment in which he Hobbs calling to warn him was interesting, because it shows how Hannibal manipulates people for his own amusement and interest. Hannibal is put down as a man with an exceptional taste, dressed in suits with a passion for food, music and art. It's fun to see how it is hinted to subsequent events and that it remained unclear whether Hannibal also Graham pieces of human cross.
However, there are also evident in a number of critical notes on the first episode. Firstly, I think that the character of Garrett Jacob Hobbs was exposed too little. We got or want to see a glimpse of the motives of Hobbs, but I would have liked more of the character, especially since Hobbs is so important in later episodes. Hobbs was not engaging enough in this first episode to make a real impression and creators might have better spreading the story of two episodes.
I also think the two forensic investigators Jimmy Price and Brian Zeller misplaced a little. The two form a kind of comic duo and have written something too lightly. They fall somewhat from the tone with respect to the rest of the cast, and they could have been better omitted. Beverly Katz fits better with the rest of the characters, but is still too much in the background.
Technical film was the first episode well together. Director David Slade did with previous films like Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night that he's well able to create a bad atmosphere and Hannibal, it delivers excellent job. The episode exudes atmosphere and is styled very stylistic. Especially the image of the woman who was impaled on the antlers, you probably still remains some time at. The end of the episode was effective, the final climax was well built and showed almost the caring side of Hannibal. The pilot finally succeeds in its primary purpose: to know the psychopathic Hannibal to both sympathetic and terrifying.

Earlier this month brought NISA The Witch and the Hundred Knight to Europe
Earlier this month brought NISA The Witch and the Hundred Knight to Europe. Unfortunately, that game was very disappointing, but fortunately the month of March more mischief in store for the sadistic Japanofielen among us. Almost ten years after the release of Trapt (PS2) Tecmo Koei has announced a new title in the Deception series. Unlike its two most recent predecessors, Deception IV: Blood Ties weather-and-in poorly - and that's a good thing.
The Deception series began in 1996 Invitation to Darkness for the original PlayStation. It made you a follower of the devil who had to protect a castle by (mostly innocent) to chase intruders away. That, however, did not you by your enemies ready to attack, but by having them walk into traps and monsters - made from the previous victims body parts - to send them off. In the four games that followed, became more and more zoomed in on the traps, where you can find many fall can get entangled. This made it all soon intended to eliminate your enemies in the most (unnecessarily) complex ways. The sicker the murder, the more points you score.
Deception IV continues this trend continues and certainly makes creating this kind of deadly Rube Goldberg Machine easier than ever. From a third-person perspective, you move your character away from her attackers. With the press of a button your magic then a grid appear that allows you a number of preselected can disable traps in peace. This screen displays not only the location of your traps again, but the effect they have on your enemies. For example, place a spring and you'll see exactly where the enemy will land. You can then lay a bear trap, then pop a missile towards a dangerous obstacle near the trapped hero. If all traps are placed, you only have to lure the enemy to the right place and then activate the traps one by one manually.
The whole system is more streamlined than its predecessors, and when it works, it works well. Unfortunately this is not always the case. Although the game the operation of traps communicates well, there are a lot of variables for which the planning screen does not mind. Thus, the direction in which the enemy is determined on after the trap site, or it may be that the hero temporarily lies on the ground after a fall, causing higher placed 'sling guillotine' just whizzes over his head. The exact effect of already covered present in the environment will not communicate with you, so you only after multiple experimenting know where your enemy will end.
Especially the new staircase mobiles "(a flying bomber or moving train, for example) are virtually impossible to handle in your decoy sequence. Because you can do precisely position your snare and activate it yourself, but then the opponent must also walk by at the right time. Besides planning require these combos therefore also a good dose of luck, especially if such a combo is necessary for a particular challenge this creates a lot of frustration.
Even more frustrating is when you simply have the wrong traps. Indeed, there are some heroes with certain armor or skills, making them immune attack against specific types. By exploiting their weak spot in an extended combo, you can ignore their skill or even destroy their armor. Unfortunately you will advance only be informed of the immunities and not weakness. This lets you go off your traps in order to find the right - which you should anyway mission have been. Instead of this feature so the necessary variation and challenge entails mainly produces boredom.
On this frustration after the gameplay however outstanding and unique in every way. Besides the Deception series, there are only few games in which you defeat enemies by running them off, enabling them as Wily E. Coyote to run on Roadrunner in the fall. Everything around what can be boring, but even during story mode after ten o'clock it continues to give satisfaction to create the most bizarre and gruesome combos.
It's a bit like putting together a marble run, only the marbles are innocent heroes and the job filled with all sorts of deadly machines. There are also plenty of deadly toys to try and although the enemy does not have the most ingenious AI, it is very nice to get to know their individual patterns and exploit.
This is done not only in the story mode, but also in a hundred challenging 'missions', each with its own profit and conditions that you need to achieve in time. Outside there is a free battle mode 'site, where you can test if you fall in a controlled environment. If you want more content, you can select their challenges and share them with other players. Are you particularly proud of the way you have overcome a particular challenge? Lettuce than just the replay. With the PS3 version of the game allows you to replay even upload directly to YouTube. Very cool.
Much cooler than ever that the dark atmosphere and sadistic humor from the first two games are back again. Both Deception III as Trapt you that happens to an innocent girl and it did not feel quite right. If you like the chuckling have slaughtered one after another enemy in the most bizarre ways, it is indeed very difficult to get around the lovely girl for the same acts is to weep.
The new protagonist Laegrinna contrast, total does not suffer from guilt. This is not surprising, because she is the daughter of Lucifer himself. Accompanied by the patron demon of the extensive death, sadistic torture and degrading downturn, kill them (often corrupt) saints, in order to liberate loving father of his imprisonment.
The story itself, you do not expect much and also supply the scantily clad protagonists little more than fan service. Instead, the story completely in the service of the gameplay. It simply gives a cruel but comical context for the clumsy but calculated killings that you'll commit. In addition, the three demonic helpers are a nice excuse for points of Deception IV.
By making greater use of humiliating fall demon Lilia will give you new new ways to offend them heroes. Put your other hand most horrific fall and sadistic Veruza will reward you with even sharper knives, saws and spearheads. But the best course continues to create one long combo which you can please your helpers.
THE JUDGEMENT
Ultimately, that is what counts in this game: endless combos lay out, which will not only finish your enemies, but also humiliates to the bone. The story and even minute-to-minute gameplay are hereby just nice extras. The game has some frustrating bugs, but if you as a child have been fascinated by Rube Roldbergmachines, then Deception IV Ask your glove. If you now also have further developed a somewhat twisted mind that is certainly perfect.

As we pointed out in our film review film director Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills
Danny Trejo falls into the category of "one of a kind." Not because of his drawn face, not by his porn mustache, not even by his straight long hair, long since fallen out with many men of his age. The man has the rare gift of about every movie where he plays - how bad the script is - so to give some entertainment in one way or another. Danny Trejo is awesome. And he proves again in Machete Kills.
The original Machete, which appeared in 2010, was already a huge release over the top where the most obscene scenes and ridiculous killing moves followed each other in rapid succession. Nice to see. Manhood! Murders! But no more than that. Story Technically there was nothing in it was pure mindless action and an ode to the aforementioned fake trailer on which the film is based.
As we pointed out in our film review, film director Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills here a step further. More action, more intersecting storylines and more references to old movies and style elements. Machete gets the assignment of the President of the United States (Charlie Sheen, this time in the credits under his real name Carlos Estevez) to one (obviously Mexican) cartel leader who wants to fire to make a cup less a missile at the USA. And leave it up to Machete.
As mentioned flying limbs back on the screen, and blood flows in every corner where it can go. Want more of the same action as you know from the first Machete, you're rammed with this film. Danny Trejo put the cool Mexican with his machete again strong down. Personally, we would bypass the block if we encounter him again in the flesh, because the way the man plays his role, gives almost the suspect waving a machete is a daily activity for him. Less in that area is Lady Gaga, who experiences her acting debut in this film. Although she terms of abstractness fine in a film like this suit, is that her acting is unfortunately not refrain. Missed chance.
The 107 minutes that lasts Machete Kills, flies anyway over. crab at the end of the ride you ever just behind the ears where the fuck you been watching just have to. Purists story in a negative sense, action buffs positively. You need this film was not slide into your DVD player with the illusion that you're going to see a flawlessly put together piece of cinema. You have to let you just overwhelmed by the action and do not want to think about the story, because that just does not fit in a film of this caliber.
Extras:
With the limited number of only 29 shooting days is a behind the scenes look the thing you want to see it up as an extra on the disc release of Machete Kills. A tight twelve minutes, which is pretty neat in time and also nice to see. We also get the Red Band trailer for the film against which we wonder if this is necessary if you stand the entire movie on the disc, and a pair of loose fragments from the film which we are wondering the same thing. Well worth mentioning is a twenty-second commercial in which Carlos Estevez does explained what he would do if he were really US president.

The extension adds a new act to which spectacularly succeeds in conveying a dark setting
Diablo 3 has to endure a lot had - I name it as a rough launch and the controversy surrounding the Auction House - but once you start you can that nasty reminder soon banished from your thoughts with Reaper of Souls. This is how Diablo 3 should have been.
The extension adds a new act to which spectacularly succeeds in conveying a dark setting. It sounds contradictory, but believe me it works. The streets of the city of West March made me think back to the fury of the first Diablo and the large variety of enemies fits perfectly in the aspect of death, more or less the theme that propels the plot this time.
As mentioned in my review in progress to play Diablo 3 not the story, all adds to the lore that you will find here and there strongly to the atmosphere and the deepening of the characters. Especially Malthael boss has quickly ijzingwekkender than Diablo ever been. The final boss battle is also the best I've done in a long time in such a hack 'n slash game.
But it is only after ACT V that the world of Reaper of Souls reveals itself to you. Where the high level content of Diablo 3 was nothing more than an endless grind, you can now enjoy the seemingly diverse Adventure mode. Here you can complete a random act five missions - defeat the boss, complete the event - with lots of XP and gold as a reward. Get your all five, then Tyrael give you again what loot too.
You see I 'apparently' writing. Adventure knows namely the first few times to entertain well, but long term it again feels like more of the same. Granted, it's better than playing every act over and over again in the campaign, but somewhat broader missions did not hurt.
Where Adventure mode excels is the ability and level 1 character to start. Because of the many rewards you will experience a pleasant progression and by the increased amount of legendary aries that you find you are always rewarded in the short term for your trouble. Are you still sitting side missions, you have the Nephalem Rifts.
Rifts you create with key stones - rewards of missions in Adventure - and serve up a completely random dungeon each time before. And that is no exaggeration: the levels and samples can be of any act and even exposure varies greatly. Each Rift concludes with a spirited boss who always had a waterfall to loot carries with him, though I had especially at higher levels sometimes unlucky with just epics and gems.
Pech is and remains a factor in the game, something particularly evident with the new Blood Shards. This payment can be handed in at any NPC, which can then returns a random object type of your choice. Why is added, I am still a mystery. Even after a hundred shards I took out some weapons and armor of poorer quality than what I was wearing. The probability of a legendary probably exists, but to fight for it, is much better than before to gamble.
Shoot with 2.0, a patch where players of the original benefit from, you can find this time on the assembly line loot adapted to your class. Like you do once a legendary with a useless stat, which you can replace with the Mystic. This also comes with a degree of randomness, but nine times out of ten you do make a better item. Payable course, which applied after the disappearance of the Auction House still retains its usefulness.
Once you have one or more characters brought to level 70 - what with the new skills and new Crusader class is an enjoyable journey - then rest you remember the Torment-difficulty. This is divided into six levels, each with a higher chance of legendary aries. Do not be mistaken, however: even with good gear Torment is one a tough challenge.
On Torment you have at level 70 chance of new legendary aries, for example, an infinite health potion with additional effect or crafting materials for hard to find recipes. While this sounds appealing, I heard of multiple sides that they lack proposals make it stronger your character. "Farmen on expert" is something I've seen come along more than once in my clan.
Moreover, as a good way to stay informed advice and loot to pursue. Clans are as it were mini-communities where you just sit in for a chat or to help each other. And if you still like the PvP element of Brawling, there is always something to find some competition.

The average round Tower Fall Ascension involves a lot of swearing and laughter
Tower Fall is one of those game under the motto "easy to learn, hard to master 'is. Levels consist of one static screen, where you go each other with a bow and arrow in 8-bit style. Openings at the bottom, top and sides are connected to each other, so you have many more options than you realize at first. Enemies will fall down at the bottom of the screen to appear, then the top of the screen and make your life miserable. In the original game you just rose against other human archers. Tower Fall Ascension has fortunately a lot more, but I'll be back. The true beauty of this deathmatches namely located in the archery itself.
Indeed, there is a catch associated with archery. You start each round with only three arrows, which should take you back when you've shot it. This creates a wonderful risk / reward dilemma with every enemy you want to disable: you take the risk that you miss and become vulnerable to the enemy? Each player can pick each other arrows, so the situation may arise that you run out of arrows.
Fortunately, you can always rely on a Mario-like jump on the head, which works just as effectively. With a well-timed dash you grab a dart fired from the air and you can use it yourself, a valuable technique. In addition, you also have to take into account the environment. Shoot your example an arrow through a fire pit, it will catch fire and cause even more damage.
So an arrow in the air also comes back down and can mean your own death if you are not looking good. But soon unlock all sorts of extras, such as shields to protect you, and wings for mobility. But the best are the special arrows: some shooting through walls, others continue to bounce off several times by walls. All these individual power-ups provide more intense battles and give you lots of tactical advantage and new opportunities.
Intense is the action certainly. A round can be of short duration between two to four players, in which the stress levels rise rapidly. The action is super fast and you'll have to be constantly on guard. Are you clear too busy searching with power-ups, then soon the opponent behind you if you just know how to get through the openings. Local multiplayer is really the driving force of the game and makes for many hilarious moments.
The average round Tower Fall Ascension involves a lot of swearing and laughter. Thanks to the instant replay can be the loser next here again with his nose rubbing on the bench, which is always better than online. Online multiplayer is lacking completely and this is a great loss. Your three friends will not always be around and at times like this game could really benefit from quick online match making.
To compensate for this, Tower Fall Ascension has two new modes: Quest mode and trials. The two are clearly inserted in order to eliminate the lack of a single-player capability, although these are also to play on co-in. In Quest mode you play through individual levels, in which you must survive several waves. Each round take the number of computer-controlled enemies and their complexity. Often will have to recognize your patterns to make everybody off.
In co-op runs this easier, but you will have to take due account of each other because you can touch each other. The levels are very challenging and force you to quickly improve your skills. Should you still sound too easy, then there is still a hardcore variant of each level. Trials are short assignments where it is about to finalize this as soon as possible. Personally, I took more pleasure from the quest and versus modes of Tower Fall Ascension.
Graphic looks the game simplistic - even for 8-bit style where the developer has chosen - but is still full of little quirky things that capture your heart like a cap that falls from the head of the blue shooter where you have a close call with have an arrow. The eight playable characters (of which you must unlock four) all have a different color corresponding to the light bar of the DualShock 4. Enemies eyes well detailed, though you have little time to enjoy here.
The key is that the graphics grow on the player by the addictive gameplay. In bed I still saw flashes of that annoying pink archer and if I did not play the game, do not I managed to put it out of my head. Everything is accompanied by an epic soundtrack that perfectly matches the images, as well as the retro sounds when you pick up powerups, shoot or die. The simple design resonates on every level, but this still works effectively.
THE JUDGEMENT
The number of hours you can get from Tower Fall Ascension is amazing and the game has more depth than the simple graphics suggest. The action is super fast, frantic and most importantly very addictive. The quest mode and trials are a nice addition, but the game really comes into its own when you make the lives of friends acid in the versus mode. It is difficult to understand why there has not been chosen to add online multiplayer. This makes it more of a party game for when you have all your friends together. However, the co-op and versus quest well worth the effort to go through. Tower Fall Ascension was top on the Ouya, and even better on the PS4 and PC.

In the previous episode we could already smell here at Terminus
In the previous episode we could already smell here at Terminus, a compound which are most reminiscent of an abandoned high school. A place that does what hippie-ish, but whose inhabitants seem somewhat flat, like all prozac nation after the zombie takeover there has been collected in the 'village'. At least that's my first impression of the Terminus. Will we get to see more in this last episode?
In any case, the circle is complete. We started this season with Michonne, Rick and Carl trying to find their way to the prison after the hassle with the Governor. They have found shelter in a neighborhood, but there are also at risk. This episode again builds on what the trio further happened. But that's not what this season finale it opens, because that's a flashback. Arrow viewers (like me) will probably shoot straight in the stress, because how many times I've Oliver Queen return now see it go to that island (even if only in thought). Fortunately, the flashbacks to AMC more pleasant than the CW, or rather stoneware.
I've enjoyed it immensely to see how Rick thinks back to that time in prison. Despite the threat of the Governor and the zombies who are rattling the fence, life was actually quite nice and peaceful. The people are a big family and there was even something like a reconstruction of farming activities. And there to pick out interesting lessons that we learn - and Rick - in this season ender.
It remains weird to see her like this. Michonne. Although they correctly in about as much misery is like when she first met the group, she has since she told Carl a certain calm about him about her past. Her facial expressions are suddenly so different. She is a woman relaxing, despite her samurai sword never far from her. They may not always be so relaxed life in this zombie world also appears in this episode again. But again it is not the zombies that are the danger, but the people.
Lots of action in this last episode, as we now also expect from the comic series. A bizarre turn for Rick, who takes destiny into their own hands as he completed by turns when all he ever so hard working - safety Carl - is at stake. This episode, which 'A' is called, seems at that time to be at its peak and then gradually phasing out, but fortunately you'll be shaken even quite awake to the end. There must for thrill seekers, after all, must be a good reason to want to see the fifth season, right? Well, the end is predictable somewhere: Of course everyone will find each other again. However, the circumstances in which we find each other, are bizarre. Terminus, what is it? It remains somewhat mysterious, but there is at the end of the sixteenth episode a lot more clear about the 'promised land'.
It is in any case become very clear that we did not want to miss any episodes in this second part of the season. There were some slow ones, but also to be greatly appreciated by many viewers. Plus, in this episode, there were suddenly a lot of puzzle pieces in their places. And Rick, who had given it all a bit, dare to stand up again. No longer a pitiful heap of humanity, but the daredevil and doer he has in him to emerge. An episode in which what Rick is very probably be a 'holy moly! "Or" Wow shit! "Have been declared. And even if you're a bit introverted, there is undoubtedly a Beavis and Butthead-like chuckle escapes from your throat. Rick impressed this episode.
Who made the most impression on me was Hershel (in flashback form so). Although I am not a fan of those super being instantiated emo moments in which a lesson is taught, I found what Hershel said touch. It was pedantic, but if it did not. It came across as something hopeful and beautiful. It put Rick at that time not completely in place, but it has made so far impressed that he is now (very much later) still draw a lesson from know. The best part was that it was in some way eventually back to the leadership of Rick, but then so packed that it was paternal lead. I thought that was very nice, especially because in the comic rather an emphasis on that whole thing leader and sometimes a little too much.
Meanwhile, the big guessing can begin. Why is that meat on the barbecue? Are the people at Terminus indeed cannibals? The name sounds ominous anyway. Our heroes are now in the store, like chickens in factory farms or at ordinary prisoners? How do they look back the stuff to pick from that Terminalen (bland)? I think all in all this season finale certainly not everyone's cup of tea has been. I thought it was beautiful to see how emotion and action were alternated, but the rhythm was a little weird in this episode. It does not have to be negative, for there were some bizarre twists that - despite the predictable end - I still managed to get on the edge of my seat.

The structure of the story may not sound very original
Snowpiercer is a special film in several respects. So it is a high-concept science fiction film produced independently, on a budget of "only" $ 40 million. The film is a cultural melting pot: based on a French grapic novel, directed by Korean Joon-Ho Bong and several major Hollywood stars such as Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell and John Hurt in the lead roles. But what Snowpiercer particularly special is that it is an action movie that takes the time to put interesting characters and its audience approached intelligently.
The story of Snowpiercer takes place in 2031, seventeen years after a failed experiment has created a new ice age. Due to the cold is extinct the majority of the human race, apart from a small group of survivors on board of an enormous train called the Snowpiercer. The people on the train are divided into classes: the rich sit in the front, back of the arms. The people in the back are suppressed by the elite in the front wagon and soon breaks off a revolt. Led by Curtis (Chris Evans) and Giliam (John Hurt), the rebels are trying to get to the locomotive, but they are thwarted by Mason (Tilda Swinton) and its soldiers to do everything to stop the rebels.
The structure of the story may not sound very original, but it is told so deftly that you hardly through. The film wasting in early little time with unnecessary explanations and the story is fast going. There is a perfect balance in the film between the thrilling action scenes and the quieter moments in which we learn more about the characters. Each character is competently put down by the various actors, Chris Evans plays fine as serious and troubled leader Curtis and John Hurt is well versed in the old way "Obi-Wan Kenobi' role of Giliam. Especially Tilda Swinton throwing out all the stops as the power-hungry Mason and her over-the-top acting, she puts down a great villain. In addition, the American cast is completed by two well-known Korean actors. Kang-Ho Song and Ah-sung Ko excel as two drug-addicted technicians Curtis just want to help as they receive each time drugs.
However, the main character in the film is the titular train where everything is happening. The train is portrayed as a self-contained ecosystem, where each car has its own function. During Curtis search for the locomotive he passes several carriages, each designed and devised very inventive. The production design of the film is therefore exceptionally high level and director Bong Joon-Ho (The Host which previously made) it brings all in a brilliantly displayed. Especially fans of BioShock for example, will enjoy dystopian world that is put in the film. The various action scenes are beautifully filmed. Essentially an action scene where the train goes through a tunnel, is one of the highlights of the film.
In the third act, the film turns down a gear and the story will be completed in a very competent manner. Some will find sociopolitical criticism made is perhaps too flashy and loaded with the film, but it is very commendable that the film anyway to venture here. In addition, show the different CGI-images of the outside of the train is clear that the film is made with a limited budget. Nevertheless, it is amazing what all have managed to achieve the filmmakers with such a limited budget.
Snowpiercer is a movie that puts you think, but also thrilling action scenes does that make you two hours sitting on the edge of your seat. The film is wonderful designed, beautifully portrayed and put all the actors fine performances down. It's the kind of movie we only see little, one that knows how to entertain and also thought-provoking.

When Fez appeared in April 2012 IGN Benelux was not live yet
When Fez appeared in April 2012 IGN Benelux was not live yet. That means we never were able to take the game in our reviews. Too bad, because we have been reminded again last year during the indie game concert that fine game with his great music. Recently we received the news that Fez was given a release date for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Vita. We say let us twice, so here the review of Fez for the PS4.
If you are a gamer that Fez already on PC, Mac or Xbox 360 has played, then the key question, of course: what is different about this Sony variant? Little. The PlayStation 4 version runs 60fps at 1080p and the PlayStation 3 version 60fps at 720p. We deliberately chose Fez play on the PlayStation 4 because it has the most novelties, namely the addition of the touch pad with which the card can be reached, the light bar on the DualShock 4 and finally you can 3D TV Turn to better the game again.
Fez is the year 2014 a further million downloads and that's a nice figure for an indie game. It is unfortunate that creator Fish is so difficult to love, because it is almost the opposite of the sweet world Fez drags you with love. I'm not surprised that a wide variety of gamers supreme best entertained by this game. Fez is such a game that you think at first: "fat pixels and a strange white guy with a red hat, let's see what this then." Then you look at your watch, you're five hours away and you realize that you're so sucked into that magical world that you still have about four hours before you have to back out of bed to go to work.
It is funny enough in Fez is not so much the main character Gomez, but rather the game world itself that is so enchanting. This does brilliantly what many indie games to achieve only try in recent years: give a tribute to the games of the past by working with cartoonish cubes. Moreover, the gameplay is very original. It does distant reminiscent of Paper Mario, because the 3D effects on a 2D world. Plus, there is in both games a pixeltje the protagonist helps to understand the game world.
It's great to puzzle and platforms on the way Fez makes this possible. You find yourself in a 3D world that you see in 2D. It is as if all cube-shaped platforms that you can turn around. Imagine that you are standing in front of a cube (on a ledge), you can turn it so you can not see yourself, because you sees the other side of the cube. You must arrange to jump further through the spin and discover. And - most importantly - to find cubes that form a large cube to open doors to new worlds.
The puzzle element is quite addictive due to the fact that you are immediately rewarded for your brain activity. After all, you can immediately continue and you come closer to open a new world in the game. You can totally lose yourself in that puzzle, because you actually feel smart yourself when you discover how to proceed. It's amazing how you can not just go along by turning the cube worlds, but also to be alert, for example, when lightning and some elements are only visible when the lightning takes office.
In my opinion Fez offers gamers more inspiration than Paper Mario did. It is a game that not many text screens pass with unnecessary information to keep you up. It is true that the characters you encounter are often brief. Short of dust in this case to its promise, because the comments made are often nonsensical funny, which is fine if it is kept short. Personally, I am especially in love with the somersault sweet kittens in the game, or the fat bunnies bouncing randomly around. Each world has its own atmosphere and is - in spite of the large pixel splendor - lots of detail in each world.
I prompt the equally at the beginning: the music is so compelling that it even played live during the indie game concert last year. It sometimes reminiscent of a Disney movie, sometimes to the music of the film Drive; it is each level again lovely to listen to and not get bored. This is partly because there is no sound simple, happy tunes, but precisely what depth sounds very of atmosphere. You can immerse result in the adventure with Gomez.
One drawback to that journey with that white figure is that sometimes you totally have to get back to a place you've been. Then you just before you feel five layers on and then comes into the picture message that you can open a door in the first layer. That's somewhat disturbing, because you just completely in it and wants to continue to explore. You want more of that fine originality, why keep back already beaten tracks. It is convenient that you can access the folder by pressing on the touch pad, but they are not to read too easy. That study and mastering requires time and effort.
THE JUDGEMENT
No bearing fez man overboard, because there is little negative to note this indie title. It definitely belongs to the canon of indie games and if you have not had the chance to play him, then he is to download on your PlayStation 3 or 4 Vita worth. Especially on the PlayStation 4 because he is enjoying the ultimate picture quality. A game that works like a train and can be an ideal tool for your hobby once represented good to see when you get non-gamers on the floor. And also if you have players on your bench anyway. But do not complain if she center still mesmerized be glued to your tube at night.

In the first episode we saw Will fatally injure a killer with lots of bullet shots
In the first episode we saw Will fatally injure a killer with lots of bullet shots and in the second episode is all about the impact on the rather unstable FBI consultant. The episode opens with Will in a shooting gallery - to blow off some steam (so it seems), which is rather difficult because of his hallucinations. It does not help that his elimination of the assassin and rescue the daughter of the murderer is seen as an act of heroism. Will is a complicated person and does everything to radiate it - but also to be appointed.
Yet he can not escape the much needed therapy. FBI head needs him for further research, but asks that Will is diagnosed as unstable, in this case Dr. Lecter. Hannibal would like no one else can understand the complex mind of Will and smart enough not to kick in when the FBI consultant tries to sabotage the therapy.
Between therapy sessions through must, however, also murders are solved. Jack Wills also take you to a log cabin from which the killer would do its job. The ominous place that is well stocked with antlers late Jack noticed that the daughter of the killer might well have been the accomplice of her father. Will does not want to and there is remarkably confident that the father alone murdered. Anyway, there are six missing victims where the FBI is looking for and that should be found.
Dr. Lecter seems particularly interested in the motives and guilt of Will. Though Lecter does not appear too much in the episode, he again steals the show. Topacteur Mikkelsen knows a few words to increase the tension and even though you know you're dealing with a psychopath, he puts you in all his pronouncements thinking. Why let him know to Will that he feels responsible for the daughter of the slain murderer? Will he want to convince you that they are not much different, or is it part of a larger plan?
The second episode also introduces two new elements: a brand new serial killer and a bad journalist. Coincidentally these elements dots on the strength and the weakness of the show. The serial killer shows the mindset of both Will and Dr. Lecter an extra dimension. Both men seem to identify with the serial killer and feel it a little too easy at. Just because Will is doing his best to have a hard time (because as we know, he is very complex).
The nasty journalist is just put down to extreme, making the series feels a bit too American. The journalist in question, Freddie Lounds literally go over dead bodies to get around her story, and that's simply not credible. When three boys encounter in a forest in a row of hands stabbing the ground, what appears to be a mass grave of people covered by mushrooms (which you may best when reading a euphemism, the scene is quite sinister) , you are immediately alert. When Freddie contrast especially interested in making pictures of the crime scene and then also cares little for the serial killer can escape through her fault, then you still have difficulty recognizing the viewer into the character.

Like almost every Dynasty Warriors title will also get a song number 8 Xtreme Legends expansion
Like almost every Dynasty Warriors title will also get a song number 8 Xtreme Legends expansion. Besides gameplay tweaks and a handful of additional characters this type extension usually adds new what-if scenarios to - so in this case. In addition, Lu Bu gets his own story mode and provides additional expansion challenge and replay value through an 'Ultimate' difficulty special challenge levels, a renewed Ambition mode and a higher level cap. Xtreme Legends is mostly more of the same, but considering section 8 is one of the better games in the series, which does not have to be bad.
As mentioned, Xtreme Legends is a wonderfully old-fashioned expansion: no update or DLC pack so, but a substantial addition to a previously released game. The expansion is stand alone, which means that you can also play without the original game, whether you walk than any previous story content wrong - unless you're the Complete Edition for PS4 and Vita buy. If you have the original game have in your possession, you can authenticate it online for its content also involved Xtreme Legends. Have you not the first game, then you should do it with the new levels, challenges and Ambition mode of expansion.
However, all playable officers from the original game place and unlocked from the first minute. With the five new characters counted there, this means that you can immediately with as many as 82 officers to work. Unfortunately, three of those new characters so generic that you can barely distinguishable from ordinary enemies, but new styles of play are always welcome. In addition, all existing characters already updated with a second EX-attack and has to unlock a new ultimate weapon for each weapon type.
The direct gameplay is also little changed. Of course you will still hordes of enemies heels with easy to perform combos and three different 'musou' attacks. You will also still be careful to be in the right place on the battlefield at the right time and it is crucial to regularly exchange of weapons in order to exploit the weaknesses of the opponent. This is a good thing, because thanks to these features Dynasty Warriors 8 was a little less brainless hakfestijn than its predecessors, without moving away from the ridiculously high KO counters.
Xtreme Legends doing here by giving you charge a little extra over three bodyguards - in the renewed Ambition mode, at least. These bodyguards can build by letting other accomplices go unpunished (to recruit later). You can also build a bond with your bodyguards by taking them along on missions, and they can learn a new skill. During such a mission, you can pause the game at any time to use these skills, or they simply send it to a specific point on the map, to conquer a base or defend here.
Despite this addition Ambition mode remains a 'grind'. For those who were not familiar with the mode you hereby start with an empty piece of land that will serve as your home base. These can then extend through a series of increasingly more difficult to engage in missions. Only when your time is up or you go down, the influx of new levels stops.
During the missions you gather fame, henchmen and materials for your empty land gradually be transformed into a small village with eventually a monumental tower. The race against the clock expired missions nice and smooth, but when you have a hundred missions of about 4 minutes to play through, get bored so. This is all the worse by the fact that passes many times the same dialogue during each mission.
If you still manage to complete the tower, then you had played the mode in the original game. In Xtreme Legends go though your ambitions that little bit further. This time, you can directly play to unite all of China by one by one to conquer every province. This sounds nice and will make fans of the series may remember the Warriors extensions: Empires. Do not expect the same level of depth or even the illusion of strategy. In the Advanced mode you Ambition' namely doing pretty much the same as before, only with a different purpose. Here Tecmo Koei could do more with it.
The same applies to the new placements of the existing story lines. It is of course nice to see how the Three Kingdoms Roman could have been different, but rather that they tell a real story, they often feel as separate courses. They thus provide a particularly fresh look at the battlefields, but not the consequences.
Lu Bu in the storyline, however, is clearly stopped more time. Here are introduced to new characters through cut scenes and you finally get to see how it is that Lu Bu was present at almost every legendary battle. I never knew that I wanted a Lu Bu-story, but now I've played this Dynasty Warriors 9 can not do without.
Outside these additions to Xtreme Legends focuses mainly on hardcore Warriors fans who are not afraid of a solid gravel. The new challenges, particularly the new complexity require a more comprehensive understanding of the game systems. It also helps to have one or more officers to the maximum level - which has now been increased from 99 to 150. The average player will probably not even near it.
THE JUDGEMENT
The story of Lu Bu is the only grand addition of Xtreme Legends. Fans of the Warriors series will most likely Hours are sweet with the extra difficulty, higher level cap and extensive Ambition mode, but eventually all this content aimed at re-playing the same levels. For newcomers, the price of the individual expansion thus difficult to justify. If you have a PS4, the Complete Edition is by far the better choice. In addition to the lighting effects, sharper textures and higher number of enemies on the screen, it also includes all the content from the original game. Eventually Xtreme Legends is a standalone expansion simply too little to offer.

The action takes entirely to your completely customizable aircraft
The last time it is not just the slick next-gen graphics, realistic faces and stunning lens flares which beat the clock. Indie studios that simple-looking, pure gameplay games from pumps are hot and 'our own' Vlambeer contributes to this with their latest adventure: Luftrausers.
Originally started as a free Flash game, Luftrausers now finds its way to the PC, PlayStation 3 and Vita. The retro-feel dripping from a monochromatic color palette and vintage sound effects, making the game feel like you could play it on the Game Boy in 1990. However betray the fluid movements and smooth control that we make here do have a game today. And what a game it is.
The action takes entirely to your completely customizable aircraft - the Rauser - which you take on another fighter jets, submarines, warships and zeppelins above sea. You deserve to keep getting points by knocking down or sinking of the enemy forces and increasingly builds more points by enemies. The Rauser repairs itself when you're not firing, so is the dilemma constantly "I still shoot on to build the multiplier or I take rest in order to repair and move forward."
In an eternal continuous playing field, where more and more different types of aircraft and ships at your fire, it is difficult to survive. You fly away, if the engine stops running and shooting in the air in order to shoot at your pursuers. Some hit shots can quickly be fatal, however, so it is important to make your feet again as quickly as possible to recuperate.
The result is a shoot 'em up that keeps you on the edge of your seat and you forget everything to let you go. The immersion is fantastic. You can not relax or even a moment away from the screen. From the moment you ascend, the shooting, dodging, turning and re-deploy the attack. The action is constant, rewarding and above all addictive.
It gets even more interesting when you consider that the three elements where Rauser out consists in to apply. Some are obvious, others make it really interesting. A thicker body means more health, but slower response from the Rauser. A propeller and engine ensures that you fly more slowly, but will not be damaged when you fly through the water.
Also weapons are paged from lasers to heat-seeking missiles. Each of the 125 combinations gives the airplane an awesome name like Hellrauser, Devastator, Tuberrauser and Holy Diver; all with their own strengths and weaknesses and unique look and feel. The possibilities seem endless and each unit has its own purpose.
Every time you take off, you get specific goals along to move forward. So you will need to sink several boats in one combo, a number of aircraft should bring down without firing a shot or have to get certain scores. Achieve this goals, then you unlock some new parts to note expand Rauser and you rise in level. The missions feel varied, particularly spicy and frustrate you - despite many inevitable failures - never.
Luftrausers is a game that you can pick up quickly, demands the utmost of you and you keep busy. Some goals may seem daunting. So I've spent untold different combinations to get it done in order to crash one of the huge airships. Yet Luftrausers continues invite you to come back and try again.
Luftrausers is a pure gameplay game play and fantastic way to both PS3 and Vita. The game is cross-buy, so you can immediately get to work on both platforms. Unfortunately it is not possible to transfer save files between the two, so you will on both platforms must unlock missions and components. The larger sticks of the Dual Shock 3 seems to give a slightly better sense of control, but the difference is minimal.
Another pitiful thing is that there is no rumble / force feedback is used in the PS3 version. That last fatal shots and the subsequent explosion could have had more impact with a heavy vibration in your hand. Due to this shortcoming, and the short duration of rounds Luftrausers seems therefore more to do justice to Sony's handheld. All in all it is a game that you can buy pretty blind fan of shoot 'em ups.
THE JUDGEMENT
With all the modifications to aircraft, riveting action and hefty skill that you need to build, Luftrausers is an absolute must. The game is great path, looks through his unique - but simple - design and superb sound effects and music make it a fantastic experience with an old fashioned feel. You pick up the game easily and can pick out so many hours of gameplay that every shoot 'em up fans will be able to find this.

In one of the first scenes of the first episode of the first season of Game of Thrones
In one of the first scenes of the first episode of the first season of Game of Thrones, Eddard 'Ned' Stark stands with a firm blow of his sword Ice the head of a "deserter" from the Night's Watch from the rest of his body . At the end of that season we see how Ilyn Payne with the same sword does the same with Ned. The first episode of the fourth season opens with the melting of ice - made from the rare Valyrian Steel - two smaller swords.
It seems to be a symbol of the fate of the family Stark - once one of the most important and powerful families of Westeros, but now that the Lannisters respect nothing more than a young girl trapped in King's Landing. But it is also a symbol for the tone of the series. Because make no mistake: the Red Wedding was not only a shocking highs and lows in the series, but also a turning point in the story and the tone of both the book and the TV series. From here, the story progresses in a way you might not expect, but we will get further behind later in the season.
Whichever way you look at it, the Starks were quite a bit of the main characters from the TV series. But the Lannisters have won and Joffrey sitting with his triumphant grin firmly on the Iron Throne. The fourth season also opens in King's Landing, where Jaime a less than warm welcome given hoped. His father wants him back in Casterly Rock, but there is no blond hair on his head thinking about that. His main reason to stay, and beloved sister Cersei, however, have nothing to learn from him. Meanwhile, he gets a grotesque golden hand measured and nobody takes it more seriously. And then you get, despite everything, still a bit sorry for him.
In King's Landing, we meet Oberyn 'the Red Viper' Martell. A new face, but one this season we are going to see very often. His backstory comes very quickly, but perhaps requires some explanation. Booklet notes at the ready! The Martells come from the southern Dorne, where Oberyn's brother reigns Doran. Oberyn and Doran also had a sister named Elijah. She married Rheagar Targaryen - the elder brother of Daenerys and Viserys late. Rheagar "kidnapped" (opinions differ) Lyanna Stark - the sister of Eddard and the late Brandon. The kidnapping was the start of Robert's Rebellion, as Robert Baratheon was betrothed to Lyanna. Robert defeated Rheagar, Jaime Lannister put Aerys 'Mad King' Targaryen (the father of Rheagar, Daenerys and Viserys) in his back, his father Tywin Lannister stormed the city and left the Rhaenys and Aegon - the children of Rheagar and Elijah - executed by Gregor "the Mountain that Moves' Clegane, which for the record raped their mother and cut in half with his sword. Oberyn thus has a bone to pick with both the Lannisters as Gregor Clegane.
We're back? Beautiful! The introduction of Oberyn is made further strong. He works with his beloved Ellaria Sand from a hooker, showing himself interested in the pimp, pint not long after a Lannister soldier with a knife through his hand at a table and is about him and his friend to soap to help. This gives you direct the right image of the Red Viper: he is a wild card and you have no idea what he's capable of.
About wild cards spoken dragons Daenerys are getting bigger and thus becoming unmanageable. Even the 'Mother of Dragons' she seems not to be difficult to control, as Jorah 'Captain Obvious' Mormont a bit stressed. Although the story of Dany creeps forward again very slow, we are in that part of the delivery or reacquainted with Daario Naharis. Last year, played by Ed Skrein, but this season we see Michiel Huisman not unknown smoelwerk for us in his place. Nice for the fans; Huisman has in any case a beard, if it is, unfortunately, still not blue. Daenerys seems meantime nice to regroup and fortunately no longer swooning schoolgirl as Daario is nearby.
Back in Westeros Jon Snow should his superiors of the Night's Watch convince you that he is not a traitor, while his former lover Ygritte to get with the thenn ( "I fucking hate the thenn ..."). In this scene, it is remarkable to see how you never know who to sympathize viewer. One moment the Wildlings are clear about the murder of our darling Jon and a minute later do the creators of the show one step further with the cannibalistic thenn. Then Thormund Giantsbane and his companions suddenly not so evil anymore.
But the best scene of the first episode is Arya and The Hound. After the death of her mother and older brother go all the stops for the young Stark and if she wants a pony, she gets a pony. Willingly or unwillingly. An additional advantage: they can again remove a name from her death prayer.

The film brings a book next to a lot of advantages also the necessary risks with it
The film brings a book next to a lot of advantages also the necessary risks with it. Of course, the film has already advance to a wide audience of fans who are guaranteed to see the movie. But in addition, these fans are very critical, which can cause the necessary backlash. make a film based on a story from the Bible is certainly not a formula for success and certainly not the story of Noah's Ark.
For a long time it seemed not verfilmbaar story of Noah, but with a lot of CGI director Darren Aronofsky seems to have made the impossible possible. Noah is one of the most ambitious and risky Hollywood films of recent years, but if Aronofsky is successful we will tell you now in his epic project.
You're probably familiar with the story of Noah, a man who is commanded by God to build a huge ark to save two animals of each species of a great flood. This description is still the premise of the movie but Aronofsky's version adds more. As the film focuses more on the family of Noah, his wife Naameh, Noah's children Ham, Shem and Japheth, and Ila, an adopted girl who falls in love with Noah's eldest son.
The film introduces a villain in the form of Tubal-Cain, who is the leader of a large community who have renounced the faith in the creator. When the flood comes closer, however, Tubal-Cain decides to storm the ark to bring his people to safety.
The Noah writers had a difficult task of adapting the biblical story of the film and they are therefore only partly succeeded. Aronofsky has caught the essence of the story and build on this, but at the same time he tried to make the film attractive to a wider audience. So Noah is assisted by rock samples that seem to have walked away from the Lord of the Rings, and ensure the CGI battles and floods the necessary action in the film. These elements make the film more exciting, but sometimes feel a little misplaced.
The story of Noah lends itself just not as good of a movie of two hours. The first half of the movie is mainly about how Noah begins to work on the ark and his clash with Tubal-Cain. In the first hour of the film is very fast and it's full of spectacle. At the time the ark goes into the water, you're only half way.
After this the momentum of the story is significantly reversed and the emphasis is more on the obsessed Noah at all costs the "will of God" will perform. This provides some interesting moral dilemmas, but it's such a conversion that this section soon feels very slow and tedious. The film reaches its climax at the half and by the end the film is much longer than is actually good.
Where the film succeeds in it, the imagination of obsession / slight insanity of Noah. Through visions sees Noah what he has to do, but he has no direct contact with God. As the film progresses, Noah becomes increasingly obsessed with the performance of his duties, which he is capable to do anything.
Aranofsky in his previous films such as Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, already shown that he knows how to portray quite psychotic and obsessive characters. In Noah he succeeds. You see Noah slowly deteriorate and become insane. Despite the fact that the viewer understand why Noah thinks he is chosen by God, you start slowly pulling his actions into question. Especially as the villain Tubal-Cain raises some very rational arguments and seems to have a noble pursuit. Also, the many visions which Noah has perfectly mapped and deliver stunning images.
As for acting is a great job in the film. Russell Crowe doing fine as Noah and the ark shows how slowly changes its character. In addition, Ray Winstone delivers as Tubel-Cain a decent villain off and Anthony Hopkins has a nice supporting role as the father of Noah.
Especially Jennifer Connelly put down a good role as the wife of Noah and in the second half of the film some very strong moments. The young characters are unfortunately the weaker links of the film. Both Logan Lerman and Emma Watson are not knowledgeable enough to support their role and this character had perhaps be better accepted by older actors.
The cinematography is, as we are used to Aronofsky, exceptionally high level. The epic landscapes are beautifully portrayed, especially the scene in which the creation of the earth is told, you will soon forget. Unfortunately, the CGI is not always good. The rock samples and see the ark itself fine, but the herds of animals know unfortunately less convincing. However, this is less of a problem than you might expect, because the animals have unfortunately been given a small role in a movie about a boat full of animals.
